Rabbi Eliezer Lachman

Rabbi Eliezer Lachman learned for many years in Yeshivas Ner Yisroel, and became a close talmid of both the late Rosh Yeshiva, Rav Yaakov Weinberg ZT”L, and yibadel l’chaim Rav Nochum Lansky Shlit”a. Rabbi Lachman wrote the highly acclaimed series, Meoros HaRambam, containing an officially sanctioned presentation of Rav Weinberg’s teachings, as a commentary on the Rambam, together with Rabbi Lachman’s extensive, original explanatory notes. Rabbi Lachman has written articles for Yeshurun and other scholarly journals. He has served as an editor of the Artscroll Schottenstein Editions of Talmud Bavli and of Talmud Yerushalmi, and as Rosh Kollel of the Friedman Kollel of Metropolitan Washington located in Olney, Maryland. Rabbi Lachman currently serves as one of the Roshei HaKollel of the Baltimore Community Kollel.
